Doesn't open a PDF from Drive or Email. When uninstalled from Chrome Extensions, it did not correctly uninstall. It removed it's icons, but the browser still tries to open PDF's in this extension, which of course doesn't work, so now I am stuck unable to open PDF's in Chrome. Your Google Drive for Windows will show up as (G:) in the navigation panel in the File Explorer. It will function as a local drive on your computer. When you add or delete anything from it, it automatically syncs with your Google Drive.

When you click a link to a Google Drive folder from within Word, your web browser returns an 'Update your browser' message.

Important: These steps tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you follow these steps carefully. For added protection, back up the registry before you modify it. Then, you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. To work around this issue, either add the ForceShellExecute subkey, if it is not present, and set the Value data, or if it is present, set the Value data of the ForceShellExecute subkey.
You'll probably need to restart Word (and maybe your computer) after this change.
The only known effect of this workaround is that hyperlinks to Office document file content will open in your browser, prompting a download instead of opening in-app.
